Survivors Gear Extreme Wilderness Fire Wick. 15" of wax infused Hemp cordage will keep a flame for much longer than standard Jute. Our Orange anodized aluminum hex handle keeps your fingers from getting burnt and is easily found if dropped.  Just fluff the head and use your ferro rod, lighter or any spark to easily ignite the wick. Push the cord out to produce a larger flame or pull it down closer for a smaller flame. Use this candle like wick to help you start those stubborn fires. When done, just pull the flame inside the aluminum handle to snuff out the flame. Use over and over again. The handle can be used as a bellows to help a ember become a flame, but we don't suggest it. It really does put your face a little to close to the flame. We suggest our Fire Bellows that extends to 18".
